This list is in no particular order though the Shabaka album particularly suited the year for me. Special musical mention to the Master Musicians of Joujouka who in 2024 more than satisfied the 35+ years wait for me to experience them live, which I finally did in June - they were utterly overwhelming in all the best ways. Footnote: only just got my hands on the Throbbing Gristle “TG Berlin Box Set” (Mute) which on first listen sounds immense and may well have made this list in time. Amanda has been with us for around six months (at least, sorry, I don't keep tabs on these things and my memory is awful! - Rich) and has been such a great member of the Tangled team.
