Trotula is a live recording of Viridian Ensemble’s final performance at Bristol’s legendary underground music venue, artist studios, and Viridian Ensemble’s home from the inception of the project: The Brunswick Club. It references the ‘Trotula Texts’ on women’s medicine, which were hugely influential across medieval Europe.

Recorded live at The Brunswick Club, Bristol, 17th February 2019.

Officially released on International Women's Day March 8th 2020 this 2nd edition is packaged in a new more humble box with new easy to find bright orange cassette duplicated at Tapeline (plus digital DL code).
