The Runaways - And Now… The Runaways [RSD BLACK FRIDAY '26] CD/LP

RELEASES ON THE 27/11/26

Released in 1978, this final studio album by The Runaways captures the pioneering all-female rock group at a turning point in its remarkable story.

Featuring Joan Jett, Lita Ford, Sandy West and Vicki Blue, the album showcases a band pushing beyond its glam-rock roots toward a tougher, more mature sound. Recorded during a period of growing musical tensions, it would become the last chapter before the group’s eventual breakup, while also foreshadowing the successful solo careers of Joan Jett and Lita Ford. Highlights such as “Black Leather,” written by former Sex Pistols members Steve Jones and Paul Cook, reveal the band’s increasing connection to the emerging punk movement.

This deluxe edition faithfully reproduces the original album artwork and includes an OBI side strip, a printed inner sleeve and stunning double split black and white vinyl. A vital piece of rock history from one of the most influential female bands ever.
