Alice In Chains - Junkhead / Live In Seattle 1992 CD

RELEASES ON THE 6/11/26

Seattle, December 20th 1992, Alice in Chains are home, and they are absolutely on fire

Captured live for radio broadcast on KISW-FM from the Seattle Center during the "Dirt" era, this blistering performance finds Alice in Chains at a defining moment in their career. With the breakthrough success of "Facelift" behind them and "Dirt" establishing the band as one of the most powerful forces to emerge from the Seattle scene, the group deliver a set steeped in darkness, intensity and raw emotion.

Layne Staley's unmistakable vocals soar, snarl and haunt, perfectly matched by Jerry Cantrell's crushing guitar work. Sean Kinney and Mike Starr provide the thunderous foundation, driving the songs forward with a weight and precision that made Alice in Chains such a formidable live act.

Originally broadcast over the radio and captures the atmosphere of a band riding a wave of worldwide attention while remaining firmly rooted in the grimy, uncompromising spirit of Seattle.
