Nine Inch Nails - Bad Witch LP

"Bad Witch" is the ninth album to come from the legendary Nine Inch Nails and is the last instalment in a trilogy following the EPs "Not The Actual Events" and "Add Violence".

This was somewhat of an unexpected turn for the band after those EPs and is a mixture of revisiting sounds past and new, even this far down the line. Ahead of Ourselves seems like distant relative of Starfuckers, Inc., matching its anger and spite, while Over and Out feels like a fading ghost from the more recent "Hesitation Marks".

Yet, Reznor makes great use of a saxophone here which is new territory for NIN, and even feels like he is presenting his homage to Bowie on God Break Down the Door.

It is truly a bizarre yet hypnotic release in their discography.
