Matt would like to give a shout out to Ugandan label Nyege Nyege Tapes as his label of the year showcasing  an amazing diversity of African electronic music ...and grindcore. Also props to WeReleaseWhateverTheFuckWeWant Records from Switzerland as his reissue label of the year who have given us plenty of amazing oddities and rarities this year. This year unfortunately saw the passing of the legendary Andrew Weatherall, who was a huge loss in music and a massive influence.
